Innate acted as architect, planning agent and project manager for this single storey rear extension to replace a tired conservatory in the Pains Hill area of Oxted. The modern orangery-style extension featured stone and pebbledashed walls to tie into the existing period property, but paired these materials with two rooflights within a new flat roof, and crittall style doors and windows both to the exterior and as dividers between the internal rooms. The extension added a much needed play room and boot room for this family that are watertight and thermally efficient- something that could not be said of their previous conservatory! Bespoke cabinetry in both rooms maximises the impact of these small spaces in day to day life.
